It's 2023 and I thought it was probably a good time to share my new prints.
Following on from the Stanage Edge range is Millstone Grit - A new range of prints inspired by the textures and forms of the stones this range is named after.
Millstone Grit is the name given to the coarse sandstone that are found throughout the Pennines such as Stanage Edge. These new designs were inspired by some of the original collages that I created when designing for the Stanage Edge range.
Initially discovered in my sketchbook whilst looking for some art work to add into the latest KIN.DER Zine Issue Two, where I made a simple one colour version of the collage. Copies of the Zine are still available from the KIN.DER Studio on Arundel St or you can download online for free.
I suddenly decided I needed to do more with the design and created three brand new prints from these original monochrome collages. So here we are and they were even done in time for their debut at the Huddersfield Uni Christmas Market.
All prints are available in A5 , A4 & A3 and can all be purchased from the KIN.DER pop up shop which is currently open Wednesday - Friday, 10am - 4pm. Im going to be working on getting an online shop set up soon so watch out for that.
